I love this project! This is my first attempt at a mini book
and I am really enjoying the process. For the mini book, I used cardboard for
the front and back. For the cover, I used stars from Tiny Craft and wrote Natalie Turns 13 in Sharpie.
I used construction paper, an arrow sticker, and little pink
dots for the back of the front cover. On the purple page I wrote a summary of
what we did on Natalie’s birthday and on the bottom I used Martha Stewart Paper
Tape.
On the back of the purple page, I
took a picture of Natalie’s Birthday card and then edited it on instagram. The
balloon sticker is from Stitcko. On the butterfly page, I wrote a list using
construction paper of Natalie’s birthday presents. I also used a sticker from
Stitcko.
On
the back of the butterfly page, I used a picture that I took while Natalie was
opening presents. I kept that page simple just a picture, a sticker, and
wording. The next insert I used diagonal paper and then placed construction
paper on top of it and wrote how Natalie was touched by her birthday card.
On the back of the insert I used
a Stitcko sticker and two pink dots from Tiny Craft. The picture to the right
of the insert I took while Natalie was reading her card. This is my favorite
picture I love the expression on Mom and Natalie’s face. I used a star sticker
from Tiny Craft to show this picture is a keeper.
P.S. The lighting in our camper
is horrible! Some of the photos may seem dark. :)
