Finally after
2+ weeks I have finished the coffee cup warmer! I decided not to use double
pointed needles and instead used circular needles. I was a little bit
disappointed that I wasn’t able to grasp the double pointed needles. At the
moment it is way too hard for me and the next time I go to a knitting store
I’ll ask for instructions on working with double pointed needles. Right now
this was the best option and I am pleased with the results.
For the
warmer, I cast on 36 stitches on size 8 needles and used the stockinet stitch
(knit 1 row purl the other row) until the piece measures… The pattern has been
revised but the original pattern comes from the book More Simple Knitted Gifts.
I used Lion Brand Yarn and the color is Charcoal. It’s a really & super
soft yarn.
