On Wednesday we went to the North Carolina Arboretum which is near Ashville NC. It was cool seeing the variety of plants (even though some of them haven't bloomed) and also the visitor center. The Arboretum has a variety of things to do. We walked around some of the gardens, viewed the photography and quilts on display, and looked at some of the visitor center exhibits.
One of my favorite displays was the quilt patch. I loved this display because it showed different ways you can organize flowers. I don't know what kind of pattern this is the brochure said they have done variety of patterns including the Log Cabin Quilt and the Double Wedding Ring Pattern.
I love taking pictures of flowers! Why I like taking pictures of flowers is because they don't move :) and they are so pretty! The arboretum offered a wide range of flowers but unfortunately not all of them have bloomed.
We all enjoyed the arboretum and it was fun viewing the different exhibits. My aunt came with us which was fun and afterwards we went out for dinner. It was a fun trip to get out in the fresh air!
