Recently I updated my blog header, using my own handwriting. I have always wanted to use my own handwriting in my blog so I was excited to figure a way to do it. Right now, I don't have Photoshop so my brother recommended Paint.NET which is a free program. I love this program and I totally recommend it to people who like me can't afford Photoshop or Illustrator.
First write your saying on a piece of paper. I used a piece of computer paper, but any paper will work. Cut the piece of paper into smaller parts.
Place paper face down on your printer and scan it onto the computer.
Save your picture on your computer. Open up Paint.Net and press File and Open. Find your picture click on it and then press open.
Next click on the paint bucket and press it on the letters. The letter(s) will turn black or what ever color you selected. Keep repeating the above steps until all of the letters are fully colored.
Click on the rectangular select icon which is the rectangle on the tools sidebar. When the picture is selected press the crop to selection button. Save your picture onto your computer. With your new image you can make a header for your blog or whatever else you desire to make.
Please note that I am not a Paint.NET expert. I am just sharing the steps that helped me make my header and I hope it works for you. Also Paint.Net doesn't work for Macs it only works for Windows.
P.S. Happy Birthday to my amazing mom! I hope you have a splendid day! :)
