Yarn Along

This week I am still working on my summer cowl/scarf & reading Sense and Sensibility. I am enjoying taking my time with knitting and reading. I am a really fast knitter and reader so the slow pace is different but good. Also I have started crocheting for the first time! Thank you Sally Strawberry for the encouragement and great steps! I'll be posting more about that in the future.

What are you reading or knitting?

  1. I love Jane Austen novels and re-read them every so often. Good luck with the crocheting.

  5. I have the exact same version of Sense and Sensibility that I bought from a library for 50 cents! Jane Austen is my favorite! I've been reading her novels lately, I finished Mansfield Park and Persuasion and I've been meaning to read Sense and Sensibility (it keeps being "next on my list.") This time I got sidetracked when my sister brought home Divergent so I've been rushing through that series first. I like how the color of yarn you're using matches the book cover, they seem like a good fit (random thing to say but it stood out to me!)

  10. What a cheerful color to be knitting with! Love the scarf, and I haven't read that book....yet. At least I don't think I did, maybe in my youth but I'd remember anything from Jane Austen
