Since summer is flying, I will be posting 2 pages each week. So let's get started! In my mini book, the above layout is my favorite! I think the reason why I love it was because I got to spend some time with my aunt.
For this layout, I used Dear Lizzy's Polka Dot Party striped paper. I love the stripes and I think it's perfect for summer. I used a thickers to spell out the words fun days and I also wrote text on a Hello Today 5th and frolic chipboard piece. One of my favorite pieces on this spread is the loved button which really stands out. Also I used this heart and layered it with a 5th and frolic flower.
This picture above was taken in Saratoga, NY by a cool ballet slipper. The best part of the picture is it was taken on my aunt's flip phone, so you can actually take good pictures on a old phone! I used a PicMonkey Polaroid template for the picture and I loved the way it turned out! The paper is from Dear Lizzy Polka Dot Party pad and the cute summer banner is from American Crafts. Lastly I used a sticker from Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm and I love this washi tape.
One of the other tings that I love about this spread is the blue wax envelope. I put business cards and other fun things in there to remember our trip. On the the front of the card I added a lucky me sticker.
For this layout, we went for ice-cream. We live near a Carvel ice cream store which is so amazing! The ice-cream there is good! On the first page, I used a Dear Lizzy Polka Dot Party paper and the ice-cream picture was a freebie from Studio Calico. For the embellishments, I used Martha Stewart paper tape, the smile paper is from the Dear Lizzy Neapolitan line, the little moments chipboard is from Dear Lizzy 5th and frolic, and the red heart is from American Crafts.
I used Design 3 from Becky Higgins to place my photos and embellishments. The ice-cream paper is from Dear Lizzy Neapolitan line.
