gifts & tags.

I love everything about Christmas, the smells, wrapping gifts, giving gifts, and everyone seems more happy and excited during this time of year. I can't blame them, Christmas is magical and lovely time of year! This year my part-time job is having a gift exchange. The exchange is kind of like a secret Santa where you draw a name out of a hat and pick a gift for that person without telling them. I really enjoyed picking out an item and my favorite part was wrapping the gift and making the tag. I used some gold and white wrapping paper from Michaels (it was only 2 dollars, win!)

For my family's gifts, I will use the same wrapping paper as above and I also made similar tags to go with the gifts. These were really fun to make and while making them I listened to the end of Wuthering Heights (talk about a great book!) I followed the tutorial by Wilna in her Heartfelt Christmas class. Honestly these are so easy, all you do is layer tags with patterned paper, embellishments, and string. This is a great way to use up all of your little pieces of paper left over from your scrapbooking stash. I do hope my family enjoys them!

For the supplies, I used white tagsMartha Stewart lacePine Hill kit, tags, snowflakesHeartfelt Christmas suppliesBrighton Pier paperstar rub-onssnowflake paperblack paper, and Walden Scrapbook kit deer
