Last week, I mentioned about these bags and ice-cream notes (they were so easy and fun to make!) The knitted gifts will be placed inside the cute bags. Both the cowl and wrist warmers, will be going to two ladies who have cancer. Instead of making a knitted hat, I decided to make a cowl and wrist warmers. I haven't knitted an adult hat before, so since I didn't want to mess up so I decided to make things that I love to make.
These gifts were so a lot of fun to make and I am so glad that I can give them something to brighten their day/week/month. On another note, I am still listening to Wuthering Heights. I am about halfway through. Hoping to work on some Christmas presents this week.
Have a happy Wednesday!
P.S. I also was on the Sarah R. Bagley Podcast which I talked about knitting, college, and perfectionism. It was so much fun!

LOVE Wuthering Heights....LOVE. I know those gifts will be treasured :)
ReplyDeleteYou really are such an amazing woman and I know your knits are going to be loved by souls going through a tough time.
ReplyDeleteI think if you give it a try you will find that hats are pretty easy to knit, and if you have any questions just ask okay?
what a thoughtful, lovely gift that I know will be treasured! (hats are easy-peasy---a good skill to learn in the new year!!!)
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet gift. I am going to go listen to that podcast now!!
ReplyDeleteI just listened to the podcast and it was great getting to learn more about you. I had no idea you were that young! Amazing. I grew up on LI - early years in Commack, then to Hampton Bays then Manorville when I got married. Been living up here in RI for the past 18 years and miss lots of things about LI.
ReplyDeleteHow cute! These will definitely brighten their day. You can definitely make a hat! Try one when you have no time pressure/deadlines.
ReplyDeleteDarling knits and projects! What a special gift those will be! I really need to read or listen to Wuthering Heights. It's kind of crazy to me that I haven't before!
ReplyDeleteHow pretty they are :) Nice and thoughtful gifts, and the pink you picked is beautiful.
