yarn along.

Finally, I am on the last cowl 4 out of 4! Hopefully by next week I'll be knitting the back of my sweater. But I have to say, I really enjoyed the process and I liked working with different colors of yarn. It always seemed like I was knitting with a different color each week. Through all of this I have learned to be patient and that the best is yet to come!

I have finished listening to Emma. It definitely took me awhile to finish it, but it's my second favorite Jane Austen book (my favorite will always be Pride and Prejudice.) At the end of the book I really enjoyed this quote that Mr. Knightly told Emma, "If I loved you less I might be able to talk about it more." So heartwarming!  Right now, I am reading Jane Austen's First Love. It's a sweet book written by the same author who wrote the Lost Memoirs of Jane Austen.

  5. I love seeing all the colors you've chose for your cowls. I have found that my favorite Austen books change as I get older. I relate differently to different characters. That's actually true with many books I am rereading from my youth! Also, I love your papers or whatever you've used for the background of your picture! What a great idea, I may copy you because I am always struggling to find nice backgrounds for my pictures...
