first of 2014 minibook part 3.

This is the last post in the 3 part series. To see part 1 and 2 click here & here. This was one of my favorite mini books to complete. I know I say that all the time, but I really liked looking back and finding out what were my "firsts." Also I really enjoyed using this kit, by Ali Edwards. And as always thank you for following along in this journey!
My brother went to college last year and it was my first time going to a college orientation and dropping my brother off. It was really fun watching the orientation and to be honest I started crying! It was also cool watching someone else start college, because you can learn from them.
On the right spread, I like to call this one "first and last time turning 17!" This picture says it all, I am so happy to be 17. Also I really liked using the bring on the butterflies button from Ali Edwards.
This spread is about first day of school and first time going to the opera. Both exciting times and worth getting documented.

For this spread, I am keeping the picture private because it shows the school I am attending. But I really liked this quote from Ali Edwards so I decided to write it in my own handwriting. Best idea ever! It describes all the fears and ups of new things.

For this layout, I documented making a December Daily album for the first time. It was such a great experience and it's definitely a book that I treasure and will treasure.  I also like the love, love, love, paper from Amy Tan.

The last layout is one of my favorites. I loved using my own handwriting to write a quote by Martin Luther King Jr.
