yarn along.

I took a short break from knitting, since I just completed a sweater. I decided to make something simple and am knitting a cowl, for college. The pattern I am using is called Milchkaffee. It's really very simple just the basic garter stitch. For this pattern, they asked you to use 2 different colors, but I decided to stick to just one, which makes it even easier! Anyway, it's good to be knitting again!

This week I am reading Gone With the Wind, a classic. I just finished watching the movie, another classic and I realized I never read the book. Well the book is amazing! My goal is to finish it by the end of May. It's such and incredible read and so well written.

What are you knitting or reading?

  4. The book so much better than the movie! Well, the movie is great, just different. The story in the book is so much better I should say. It's always so relaxing to have some easy knitting on the needles - enjoy!

    1. I feel like the movie is a shorter version of the book. But I do agree that the story in the book is so much better! :)

  7. What a cute color! I thought when I clicked the link that I was going to see leg warmers for some reason, just the way they are all bunched up in the image. Which would also have been fun but a cowl sounds great too! I tried to read Gone With the Wind when I was just about your age probably but could not get into it. Maybe I had too much else going on or something else I was really itching to read... oh well, maybe someday I'll read it!
