My rug is finished!! I loved the yarn that I used and the pattern I followed was great. It's definitely a small rug. But it feels so good, when I wake up in the morning and my feet lay on this soft rug.
Right now I am reading very slowly...I am still reading Mansfield Park. In this book, I am only on chapter 7, my excuse is my aching tooth and school is starting soon!
Do you all remember my giveaway? Well I didn't hear back from Fidlin Dandi so I drew a new winner. So the new winner is Grace. Congrats Grace! Since you left your email in the comments, I'll be sending you an email.
Hooray for finished projects and I know you smile each time your feet touch your rug.
ReplyDeleteDid you see the dentist about your tooth?
Thank you! Yes I did see the dentist. Thankfully I feel no pain, but they sill need to finish doing the root canal. But I am so thankful that I am pain free! :)
Deletelovely rug! hope your tooth is feeling better soon!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I love how bright the pink is!
ReplyDeleteand I love the quilt in the background!!! (hoping this finds you pain free at last!!!....enjoy those last few days before school starts again!)
ReplyDeleteAdorable!! I haven't gotten through Mansfield park yet, but someday I will. I love your rug and hope your tooth gives you relief soon!
ReplyDeleteLovely - a squishy place for your feet makes getting out a bed a little easier :) Love the quilt in the background too
ReplyDeleteI'd imagine that stepping out of bed onto a kooshy rug has to feel luxurious!
ReplyDeleteThat's one of my favourite books, hopefully it takes your mind off of your tooth ache (and school starting. Ugh, i'm sorry about that one!)
That lovely little rug must be making your mornings so much sweeter!
ReplyDeletecongrats to the new winner :) love your rug and I haven't read that book yet. Are you feeling better now??
ReplyDeleteThank you! Yes I am feeling betting but I still have 2 more trips to the dentist! :)
Deleteit's such a great sense of accomplishment when we create something with our own hands. lovely rug
ReplyDeleteYay, thank you!!! :) Such a nice prize!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I know exactly how that rug feels because I have the same yarn, I just unraveled a shawl I had made in Fence Post brown to reconstruct it a bit differently once I finish with all the birthday knitting I'm going to be doing for my mom and sisters!
Whoohoo! Congrats on the new rug!
ReplyDeleteAs you have finished a project, but you may be interested in my current giveaway - and add a shawl pattern to your list!
Where will you put it? It looks lovely! My tooth is still hurting :(
ReplyDeleteThanks! Sorry about the tooth. :(
DeleteI am going to keep the rug beneath my bed! :)
