Purple Soft Baskets

I adore these soft baskets! The baskets are easy to make and the finished project is adorable. I found the pattern while reading the book More Last-Minute Knitted Gifts by Joelle Hoverson. The book is great for beginners, and knitters like me who aren't exactly advanced but would like to work on a project that is a little bit harder.

In one basket I store a variety of stuff like lip balms, and the second basket I store yarn. These baskets come in handy. The yarn I used for this project is called Cash Vera by Cascade Yarns. It is a very soft and comfy yarn. 

I found the yarn at the sale rack in Portland at Angelika's Yarn Store for only $4.75! It was a great day!
