december album days 25 & 29

Finally my December Album is complete! One of my life motto's is better late then never! I didn't do all of the days but I am still glad that I finished it!! I now have a Christmas album full of stories and pictures that I'll be able to look through and share with family and friends. This was a great project hopefully (maybe not in a few years) I'll do it again. :)

On December 25th we went to my extended family's house and celebrated Christmas with my cousins, aunts, uncles, and Nana. I love seeing them and I love being there. Christmas is not the same without being at Uncle John's and Aunt Barbara's. We opened presents as a family on Christmas Eve (this was the first time we did that, but I actually loved it!) Unfortunately I accidentally deleted all of the Christmas Eve pictures, boo hoo!!
The last page in my minibook has to be my one little word for 2015 click here to read how I am going to apply this word to my life. I am happy that 2014 is over and I am starting a new chapter. But a part of me, knows that my senior year will be coming to a close soon and this is my last year to be 17.

december album/days 18-23

I am slowly chugging through my album. Hopefully it will be finished by the end of January! The left spread was all about Trader Joe's cookies and how yummy they are. The right spread was about my wishes for 2015.
Our church had a Christmas fellowship. It was so good to get together with friends. I placed a card on top of the picture of our church friends to respect their privacy. The left spread has  a picture of my turkey burger, it was great!
On day 22 I took a picture of our Nativity. I journaled about the main reason of Christmas. On day 23 we went to the movies and saw Night of the Museum and ate at Chipotle.

december album/days 12-18

This album is so much fun! I really have been enjoying documenting these moments. I wrote a list of all the things Natalie and I want for Christmas. We both want completely different things but that's totally fine. On the next page I documented my work party. I was so busy that I didn't take many pictures.
Somedays I don't take any pictures, but I don't mind. This spread I used a Christmas card and used this tape to make patterned paper. The second page is a page that I made in photoshop.

I made these cute tags to put on the Christmas presents for my family and my work's secret Santa.I recently finished the Great Gatsby and I loved it! So I definitely wanted to put it in the mini album.

I can write for days about Gingerbread Lattes, but I'll save you the misery! Anyway they have become my new favorite drink.Lastly I recently ordered this cute print. It's so pretty!

december album/days 7-11

This week was full of, first snow, NY Giants wining a game, being on a podcast, and enjoying the Christmas season.
Day 8. It was filled with coffe ice-cream, snow, schoolwork, and our sweet dog Patsy.
Day 9. I was featured on the Sarah R. Bagley Podcast, so I wanted to put that wonderful event in the book. I also realized that not all the things I do in December will be Christmas related, which is okay.

Day 10. We watched the classic Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, to me Christmas isn't the same without watching the classic movies. I want to remember this... Day 11. SNOW! It was exciting to see it, even though it didn't last long. Come visit again, snow!

december album/days 1-5.

This year I am following Ali Edward's December Daily. Each day I document a story and a photo of what I did that day. Some days it's pictures of our decorated house or other days it's a simple as a bottle of shampoo. The main goal of this project for me is to document the little things that I might forget. To find out how I am organizing my supplies click here.
When December 1st came around I wasn't prepared to document my day. But I decided to take a picture of this shampoo bottle, to remember that it's my new favorite. It's all about the little things. :)
This year we decided to get a small tree. I first thought I would be disappointed, but actually I enjoy it. It was fun putting up all the decorations.
December 3rd and 4th was spent doing school, decorating, and drinking hot chocolate (which is one of my favorite things to drink this time of year.)
This was probably the best news I heard all year. A dream come true for sure!

For the supplies, I used this calenderstar paperBotanical labelsAshley Goldberg papercountdown cards, pink labels, I heart Christmas class printables5th and frolic chipboard piecesBluegrass Farm PL kit, SC Thanksgiving cards, Lucky Me embellishment kitUnderground Scrapbook kit, red star, red chipboard number, magic die cut, Ann-Marie's grab bag, Recollections kraft bow, snowflake paper, 25 days class kit, Walden PL kit, this chipboard piece.

December Daily 2014 Plan.

This year is full of doing things for the first time! As you probably guessed this is my first time doing a December Daily album. The concept was created by Ali Edwards and the idea is document the whole month of December or just 25 days. This year I am going to TRY to document all of December ask me that question later on in the month! :)

Also this year I decided not to do a December Daily kit, but instead used a variety of kits such as Pine Hill and 25 days class kit.

Album. I made my own using chipboard, letter stickers, and white stars that I painted gold. The album measures 6x8 so I am able to use a variety of page protectors.

Paper & Embellishments. Again I didn't use the kit, but instead am using Studio Calico kits, Basic Grey paper, Pink Paislee embellishments , and a sweet lady from the 25 days class sent me some die cuts.

Photos. I am 99% sure that I am going to print my photos from Persnickety Prints. I love all of there sizing options.

I am trying to keep all of my supplies organized. All of my small embellishments are kept in a project life box. The patterned paper is kept in the folder that comes with the Studio Calico kit. I really can't wait to start! December come soon!
