Taking a step down from blogging.

I love blogging, sharing my story, and craft projects with all of you this summer. I loved hearing from bloggers and reading their stories and seeing what they are creating. It has been such a fun couple of months.

But now summer is over and school is starting. I am a senior in high school which means this is my last year! I am excited that it is my last year and I am excited for the things to come. It was a hard decision, but I decided not to post ever day on my blog. As you all know writing a blog post takes time, energy, and thought. Since I don't have a lot of that right now! I am going to post only a few times a week.

I will not be doing yarn along as much, even though I love it! I will still be doing some get messy and sharing my project life and mini book at times. I will still love to hear from you all! I will do my very best to read your blogs and comment too!

Thank you all for all the encouraging words and comments! I love reading them!

Last Sunday, was my 17th birthday. I still can't believe I am 17! I had a wonderful time with my family and I watched Spider Man 2 which was great because, I have been waiting to see it. I have such great family so I was so happy to get some great outfits, yarn, stamps, and scrapbooking supplies! They are all so sweet to think of me on my special day.

I have been wanting to buy some Studio Calico so I made the plunge and bought some of the Brighton Pier paper. The colors are beautiful and I especially love the pear paper.

Hope you all have a splendid weekend! Thank you all for the sweet birthday wishes! :)

Last weekend was great! I was able to hang out with my friend Mary. We took pictures, went on a walk, and held her bunny Popcorn. This week we are sending my brother off to college, I am so excited for him. He is going to do so well.

It has been a very progressive week! I started my get messy journal and loved it. It was great dong something that didn't have to be perfect or polished. Also I have been working on my mini book and ordering photos from Shutterfly each week, to fill those lovely pages. Lastly I have some great yarn that I am using and I can't wait to share it with you on Tuesday. Stay tuned!

Have a happy Friday!

P.S. Thank you all for your sweet comments about my mom's arm and my ACT test. We both really appreciated your kind thoughts. :)

Hey August!

YAY! Today is the first day of August. There are many reasons that I love the month of August. First, August is my birthday month. This year I turn 17. Yikes! Second it's the last month of summer vacation before you start school.

For the month of August, I plan on still working on my summer mini book, knitting, and I will be joining Get Messy which is a weekly art journal. I am so excited! Also I am starting school this month and I continue to study for the big test aka ACT.

Happy August!!

A Month In Review: July

Wow! I can't believe July is over! I know I say this all the time,  but this month went by really fast. During this month, I went to Albany NY twice, and started my summer mini book. One of  my goals was to finish my summer cowl/scarf so I am glad that I finished it and crossed it off the list. I also finished Sense and Sensibility which I enjoyed and I especially loved sipping tea while reading the book. Lastly I continue to study for the ACT and can't believe school will be starting soon. Have of happy last day of July!

A Month In Review: June

Cake, blowing out candles, decorating my room, & Project Life come to my mind I think about June.
We celebrated 3 birthdays in June my brother who turned 18, my aunt who turned 60, and my uncle
who turned 50. But I am glad but a tiny bit sad that we stopped traveling and settled in Long Island &
rented a house.  In our house,  I am able to decorate my bedroom and loving making things to put in
it. I enjoyed starting Project Life and was thrilled to find out how easy and fun it is to create a layout.
June was amazing, but I am so ready for July!
